Labor Day Wkend
this is looking at our house from the road...the main road (route 360) goes right in front), so we only play in the back!
this is Zachman riding his bike for the first time with NO training wheels!!! He kept pestering me and pestering me, so I finally took them off and didn't even have a chance to help him...he took off on his own and has been non-stop ever since!
here are the 2 "new kids" testing out the neighborhood...
...our new tire swing! ...from a "ford mustang gt!"... lol
our first social gathering! we had Lisa, her friend Amy and Miss Carol and Buddy over for a cookout. i could feel g'ma around me when i was preparing everything. i can hardly wait til i get all my "entertaining things" unpacked so i can really do it! :)
zach and his favorite way to ride the swing!
and who is this? our yaya? Lisa?

Way to go, Zach! that's amazing that he just got on the bike and took off! I even noticed the FLAG POLE in the yard, gosh you've gotten a lot done already...how'd you get that pole in the ground so quickly?!It's huge...Zach must be thrilled! It looks like a very fun area for the boys to be outdoors and bike and swing and play. and you've already had guests over, even! I hope you have many happy times there in your new home!
Kevin was esp excited to see Lisa on the swing.....haha! I think he's sorry we missed the cookout!
Hey - looks great! Love the yard and the area. Here's to many more cookouts and other Gramma E - type entertaining. :)
well, that'll teach kevin to spend time with HIS family! how boring compared to US! haha dont tell him about the water balloon fight we had! ;)
yeah, we have so much space and even tho its such an OLD house with a lot of fixing up to be done, it's like a breath of fresh air now that we can spread out a little! i love it when the boys want to (and i feel safe letting them) go outside first thing in the morning to play!
the flag pole and tire swing were a top priority...i wanted that done before the boys got home to surprise them! ;) ...i'll keep adding more pics...stay tuned! ;)
Looks fantaastic compared to the ghetto -- congratulations on getting so much done - esp. flagpole and swing - great job, Chris! xoxo
