Zach's Feast!

Zach had a little Thanksgiving Feast with all the kindergarten classes...Can't you see it in his eyes that 'performing' is in his blood?! He LOVES it!

Isn't this just the cutest lil' Indian ya ever did see!?

They sang about 3 songs...with dance moves!

Place settings/table decorations were made by each student!

my lil' suga-booga..

he's so proud!

We made this 'fruit turkey' to take to Zach's teacher from last year...

...and turkey cookies...

Gobblegobble!

Patrick's field trip!

I got to hang out with Patrick on one of his field trips. We went to Maymont (think I've written about it before)

Dunno what it is about these hats. Maybe they're not made to fit correctly on your head...or maybe I'm just getting old! haha Oh well, at least he doesn't wear his pants to his knees!

just a little monkeyin' around!

what a huge 'cave' in this old tree!!

just climbing around with some classmates...while I wait for someone to fall and break something! haha

Brown's Island

This is another place we go downtown...called Brown's Island. There are a lot of summer concerts here on the weekend.
The bridge we walk across to get to the rocks is hanging underneath the regular bridge you can see in the background.

And always manage to see a train or 2...The boys think it's cool when the engineer blows the horn at them!

another fun place to ride bikes!

The anniversary of my 29th Bday!

Since the boys only had to go to school for 1/2 a day, and they were gonna be with their dad overnight, I decided to let them play hookie on my bday!

I think we have a new favorite place to eat!! We met D and Christopher at Olive Garden for lunch!! YUUMMM!!!

Zachy surprised me by eating the WHOLE bowl of mac n' cheese!!

cake...cupcakes...purple roses...presents!!! Maybe anniversaries of my 29th bday aren't that bad after all!!

It was such a beautiful day (in the 70's) ... we decided to go to one of our other favorite places downtown!! People call it "the rocks". A lot of hikers, bike riders, walkers...just fun.

The river is really low now...we could probably walk all the way across!

I don't think we've even been able to sit in some of these spots bc it's usually underwater!

The boys love riding on this "trail" with a few bumps to jump!

...Mr. Shrader catchin some air!

...little Mr. Shrader taking it slower since he wiped out 3 times! haha

...awww...

...boo!...

such a serious thinker sometimes!

if there's a camera, there's usually a smile...

...awww...ain't I lucky!??!

...tryin to be serious and not pay attention to me...

...you're never too old for a little rock climbin'!

now can someone help me down!!!

the look on Zach's face cracks me up! I'd just noticed a couple of wasps going into some cracks in the rocks not too far from his head! hahaha

What a great day...I'm so thankful for my little family...
