Jamestown Ferry with Lisa

Lisa wondered what the Jamestown Ferry was all about, so we decided to take her along Sunday! It was a little chilly (and one of us had a little hangover from the night before...NOT me amazingly! haha) but we had the BEST time!

We always fees the seagulls who follow the boat. I'd have taken a picture of them but they musta been hungry cause they were getting pretty close! I didn't want to waste much time not keeping an eye on them. I thought SILLY string was bad! I'd HATE to get pooped on!

The boys and I found the best little "dive" restaurant when we first came over. They've got the best crabcake sandwiches and the boys LOVE calamari! (Patrick's a little camera shy this morning!)

Zach's all about Lisa now! Rubbing her back and hugging her. He was really putting the moves on!

After lunch, we found a Christmas Festival at the state park (Chippoke's) I wasn't financially prepared for such a surprise!!!

Believe it or not, the boys didn't mind walking around with us looking at some of the crafts!

Inspecting the bugs...Christopher, where are ya when we need ya!?

:)

2 little monkey's sittin' in the tree...

awww...this ones my favorite!

This is the mansion on the plantation. Get this, ZACH wanted to go inside! They had a mini tour (he waited very patiently for!) for the festival that gave a really cool history about the land.

awww...

awww...

oh yeah! On our way out, we saw THESE strange piles of dead plants...I knew peanuts are one of the crops grown in this area and as I looked closer, I could tell that's what it was! It looked like the peanut plant was picked and stacked on this huge wooden spear! Kinda like tobacco back home.

And there was cotton on the other side.

Now it's Mr Crabby-pants turn to pass out from all the fun! I think everyone in the car was asleep but the driver! ;)

Patrick's first sleepover!

...Thought I'd be a cool mom and start the party off with some silly string! ...Note to self (and children): NOT necessary to hold the can 2 inches from SCALP when spraying! COULD cause emergency haircut...similar to GUM! It DIDN'T this time...but COULD have!

This is my girlfriend, Lauren, who came with her fiance, who was REALLY hoping this wouldn't have to be CUT out of her hair since she's getting MARRIED in 3 months! haha

After playing some ball on the field at school, we made smores...I think Mr. Patrick is in Heaven!

It was mainly Patrick's party, but of course Mr Entertainment had to get in on the action and sugar rush too!

Patrick, Zach, Connor and Adam. These boys have been buddies since 3rd grade...hope it stays that way! They're all a good bunch of kids!

We had goodies bags for thru out the night...and this was one prize...eyeball glasses. They were watching Transformers and having "monster hand" popcorn. (I put popcorn in a rubber glove with red licorice bites for the nails...ewww!)

...The morning after...I think this was a hangover of silly string, smores and late night movies! (11:15pm!) If only it would stay this simple!
...We were on our way to the Ferry ride in Jamestown, which is my next blog!

Grama's visit

apparently it's a little chilly in our new house. With the price of oil the way it is, my new motto is to bundle up! So mom found ZACH'S sweatshirt...um...what is that (are those) in Zach's pockets?? haha

This is Zach's favorite place to be...

...see! This is from last trip!

I hope that's CLEAN undies on everyone's head! ...Would this be a self portrait? I don't remember seeing it in person!

Grownup Halloween

I'm going to my first grownup Halloween party with my first real store bought costume! I'm so excited! ...This is our extended family, Lisa (a stewardess) and her brother Buddy (DOG the Bounty Hunter)

Baby Shower

Just a few pics from D's baby shower...
Starting off with some homemade diaper cakes!

And a lovely fruit buggy made by Tina!

oops! This is where her stomach was LAST time! haha

Christopher and his new Big Brother book edited by Great Aunt Eileen!

I'm surprised Patrick let D get this close AND put her arms around him!

Zach's always ready for the camera tho!
