An auntie AGAIN...times 2 at once! :)

WOW! I'm so excited to be an auntie AGAIN! I'm already getting ideas and plans 2gether for a shower...probably in October. Will keep ya'll posted and welcome any ideas or suggestions to put in my new baby shower organizing binder! xoxo

Happy Mother's Day!

I knew it'd was gonna be a good Mother's Day when I slept til 9:30 and didn't wake up to fighting! :) We had a lazy morning, and the boys played outside with some of their new birthday toys...then we went to see some friends. On the way back home, we saved a turtle trying to cross the street! When I got out to get him, he almost started RUNNING! and it sounded like he was HISSING!? Did I miss something about turtles? Are they not really slow and quiet!??! He had HUGE long fingernails and freaked me out a little when he touched me! Everyone got to touch him and thank goodness he didn't pee on me...so we put him over in the grass. Hope we don't see him on the way to school one day...squished.



So after the rescue, we packed some drinks and the bikes and went downtown to "the rocks". (Belle Isle) Had a great time!!! Fed some ducks, saw some fish, climbed some rocks, rode the bikes and walked around til we were exhausted!


We stopped at one of my favorite restaurants on the way home...Mexico...caught our 2nd wind after that on the way home and played a little outside and planted some flowers.
It was really a wonderful Mother's Day! :)

Double birthday celebration!

Since the boys birthdays fell on spring break and the end of school, we decided to have one big party at Pump It Up...it's a place FULL of those giant inflatable things you jump and slide on...I'm not sure who had more fun, the grown ups or kids!!

Happy 8th bday!

We began the big birthday morning with a big birthday breakfast at Patrick's favorite breakfast place...the "pancake place" (aka Cold Harbor Restaurant)...
We always tease Patrick about drinking from a straw like this..*note the tounge...will it be like this on his first date!!? lol
After school, we had dinner at Patrick's choice of restaurant...AppleBee's...it was the 3 of us, and Grama, D, Kevin and Christopher, Lisa and Ms. Carol...Patrick was a little surprised by the waitstaff singing "Happy Birthday" to him, but quickly forgot about it once he got his (free) ice cream sundae! We followed it up with (more) ice cream and cake and presents at home!
